Job Description
A vacancy exists for a head grower in our Nursery in Gorey, Co. Wexford, Ireland. This is a full-time position in an ever-expanding Nursery. The Nursery comprises over 7 acres of glasshouses producing top quality bedding and pot plants throughout the year.
The successful candidate will be working as part of an existing growing team, with responsibility for all areas of plant growth from planning the production for the year, sourcing plants and ensuring top quality plants are produced to strict deadlines to meet customer demands.
Candidates MUST have:
- Relevant Horticulture Qualification
- Proven Horticulture track record in glasshouse environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have clean driving licence
- Must be willing to work evenings and Saturdays as required
- Good mechanical knowledge of nursery machinery and equipment
