CAFRE horticulture students help prepare Hillsborough gardens for grand re-opening

Imagine Callum Burnside’s surprise when he met Prince Charles in the Walled Garden at Hillsborough Castle.

Callum is a 1st-year Foundation Degree Horticulture Student at CAFRE and has been working with his fellow students preparing the walled garden that will cultivate fresh produce for the visitor’s centre.

Hillsborough Castle tours and daily gardens admission will commence on 18 April 2019, when the castle and gardens re-open.
