Spanish authorities announced on April 20th that Xylella fastidiosa had been detected on a nursery growing Polygala. The entire stock of Xylella susceptible Polygala myrtifolia, 30,000 plants, were destroyed and a 5 km control zone has been established. Traceback and testing of plants sold is also taking place.
