SAP Landscapes are currently hiring Winter General Operatives for the Winter Season
Duties Include:
- Salt spreading by use of mobile vehicular spreaders such as transit vans, trucks or tractors
- Salt spreading by pedestrian spreaders or hand casting
- Snow clearance using ride-on power units (Kubota / John Deere) and ploughs, tractor and plough, jeep and plough
- Snow clearance by hand
Responsibilities:
- Adhering to the companies’ policies and procedures in relation to all aspects of Health & Safety
- Obeying clients site rules & regulations in general and in particular in relation to Health & Safety
- Follow the instruction provided by management and your Winter Chargehand
- Work as part of a team to ensure the quality of work is delivered to an excellent standard and that the work completed is carried out in an efficient and timely manner
- Ensure work is of a high standard that is expected in SAP Landscapes
Requirements:
- Valid Safe Pass is essential
- Full Driving Licence is a must
- B+E Licence / Tractor Experience is an advantage
- Previous experience/knowledge in similar industry desirable
Job Benefits
Package:
- Hourly rate is €15
- Employees will be given short notice to work as it is weather dependent work
- Contracts are Ad-Hoc as you will only be required to work as needed
- Training provided in the capacity of Manual Handling, Machinery Training and Health & Safety etc
